On December 13th, the FWO announced the results of this year’s applications for WEAVE Research Projects with various partner countries and regions. ORGC – alongside our partner Dr. Oleksandr Volkov in the VIB Structural Biology Research Center – is honored to be the recipient of funding for a WEAVE Project in partnership with the Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique (FNRS)(French Community of Belgium).
Starting in 2024, this project will partner with Prof. Jean-Claude Twizère from the Université de Liège and will seek to develop novel inhibitors of a protein-protein interaction that has wide-reaching implications for the treatment of virally transmitted adult hematological cancers.
